We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading building services and facilities maintenance provider for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer to work across a diverse commercial portfolio, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance within a well‑established and supportive organisation.
The Role
As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality electrical maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial sites. You will be working independently and as part of a wider engineering team to ensure all building services equipment is maintained safely and efficiently. The role covers sites within approximately a 1‑hour commute of the Luton area, offering variety, autonomy, and a structured workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Maintenance of emergency lighting systems
- Servicing AHUs, motors, and associated building services equipment
- General electrical maintenance across commercial environments
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards
- Completion of job sheets and reporting via mobile/tablet systems
Requirements
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (essential)
- Strong background in electrical building services maintenance
- Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence required
