As a Quality Engineer, you will provide vital QA and QC support to ensure first‑time quality delivery across the project. Responsibilities include developing project procedures, reviewing contractual documentation, conducting site inspections and audits, supporting quality performance monitoring, working closely with suppliers and project teams to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards, and proactively managing risks and non‑conformances.
Qualifications
- Extensive understanding and implementation of ISO 9001:2015
- Proven experience in quality engineering within highly regulated sectors such as defence, nuclear, or aerospace
- Demonstrable ability to lead audits, perform root cause analysis, and improve processes
- Strong IT skills, proficient with MS Office and SharePoint
- Effective report writing skills and experience managing supplier relationships
Desirable: knowledge of nuclear compliance legislation, professional memberships (e.g., CQI or IRCA), industry‑recognised auditor qualification, and NDT certification.
