Workshop Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business based in Havant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in manufacturing, process improvement and problem-solving. You will provide technical support to production, resolve manufacturing issues and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to production.
  • Investigate and resolve process, equipment and quality issues.
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing activities.
  • Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.
  • Support ECOs, MCDs and process changes.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and productivity.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and technical documentation.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
