Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Machine Operative to join them as a Welding Robot Operator / Robotic Welding Machine Operative. This role will become permanent after successfully completing 3 months full work as a temporary agency worker.

Shift

Shift pattern: 6.00am – 2.00pm / 2.00pm – 10.00pm (rotating every 2 weeks)

Salary and Location

Salary: £14.73 per hour (rising to £15.95 once fully trained) + Overtime at x1.5 / x2 depending on the day.
Location: Holmfield HX2

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operative in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment.
  • You are able to follow diagrams and engineers instructions with precision.
  • You can start ASAP, or with a very short notice period.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To position, align and fit manufactured parts into the robotic welding machine.
  • Remove welded parts, carry out quality checks on welds, and debur where needed.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by management (your skills may be utilised in other areas of the factory).
