Due to growth, one of our clients is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join its Guildford team to support a mix of Environment Agency framework works, including minor civil works and vegetation maintenance contracts ranging up to £2.5m in value. The role will be primarily office based with site visits once or twice a week depending on the schemes, and one day a week working from home.
Our client is one of the UK’s leading specialists in civil and environmental engineering with a strong environmental ethos and over 40 years of experience delivering sustainable solutions across rivers, canals, wetlands and coastlines.
Responsibilities:
- Support Environment Agency framework works, including minor civil works and vegetation maintenance contracts up to £2.5m.
- Utilise NEC contract form and manage multiple small/medium projects.
Qualifications:
- Previous civil engineering experience.
- Experience with NEC form of contract.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary, ideally somewhere between £50k to £60k, dependent on experience.
- Car allowance of £600 a month.
- Quarterly and annual bonuses.
- 25 days holiday.
