Active (Pathways) Solutions are seeking a skilled and motivated Grid Authorised Mechanical Fitter to join our team. You’ll be supporting a substation project in Bicker, PE20 contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of high‑voltage electrical works.

Duration: 8 months (may be longer).

Rate:

  • Mon – Fri: £30 ph
  • Sat: £33
  • Sun: £36

No weekend work initially but will be as the job progresses.

Start date: Starting ASAP.

Requirements:

  • Valid and up-to-date documentation – including CSCS/ECS card, Safety Passport, and Grid Person Authorisation.
  • Proven substation experience – previous work on Grid, Scottish Power or DNO sites is essential.
  • Verifiable references – able to provide evidence of experience and competency within the substation or high‑voltage industry.
