Skyward Select is working with a growing Electrical Contractor delivering specialist projects within the Film & TV sector for some seriously high-profile clients, including major studio and production environments connected to Warner Brothers. Projects are based around Watford, Shepperton and surrounding studio developments.

Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to appoint their first dedicated Quantity Surveyor to help shape and develop the commercial function of the business.

Suitable Candidates

  • An existing MEP Quantity Surveyor
  • An Electrical Estimator wanting broader commercial exposure
  • An Assistant / Intermediate QS looking to step up
  • Someone with both QS and estimating experience, although this isn’t essential

Role

  • Commercial management of electrical projects from tender through to final account
  • Variations, valuations, procurement and cost reporting
  • Working closely with project delivery and design teams
  • Exposure to estimating responsibilities, with support provided where required
  • Primarily office-based in Dartford, with occasional site visits
