Production Supervisor
Thorold Produce Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our team.
This is a hands‑on shop floor role responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of a busy production area, packing fresh produce for retail, foodservice, and wholesale customers.
Requirements
- Experienced within a fresh produce packhouse environment.
- Working knowledge of BRC would be advantageous.
- Organise workflow by assigning roles and responsibilities to ensure minimal downtime and maintain a cost‑efficient operation.
- Oversee and coach employees/agency staff.
- Ensure good communication with QC department.
- Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and enforce safety guidelines.
- Good command of written and verbal English and the ability to communicate to a multilanguage workforce.
