We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing engineering team at our client’s site commutable from Goole, Doncaster, York, Scunthorpe, and Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking for a days‑only role with no night shifts, offering a great work‑life balance and the opportunity to earn additional income through optional weekend overtime.
Shift Pattern
- Rotating weekly day shifts 06:00 – 14:30 and 10:00 – 18:30
- No night shifts
- Weekend overtime available and paid at an enhanced rate.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of site equipment. Working within a fast‑paced environment, you will support production through both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault finding.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across site equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose faults and carry out electrical troubleshooting, including PLC fault finding.
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems, plant, and production equipment.
- Follow up on faults identified during PPM inspections.
- Take ownership of your working area and support improvements to key maintenance KPIs, including reducing breakdowns and downtime.
- Work closely with operations teams to provide a strong service‑focused engineering function.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and the Integrated Management System (IMS).

- Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (essential)
- 18th Edition (desirable)
