Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company based in Gloucester. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to their quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern manufacturing environment supplying high-precision components to demanding industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of machined components.
  • Program and operate Aberlink CMM equipment.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using a range of inspection equipment.
  • Complete inspection reports and quality documentation.
  • Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment.
  • Proven experience programming and operating Aberlink CMM machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
  • Competent using: Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore gauges, Height gauges, General precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
