Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to their quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern manufacturing environment supplying high-precision components to demanding industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of machined components.
- Program and operate Aberlink CMM equipment.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspections using a range of inspection equipment.
- Complete inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment.
- Proven experience programming and operating Aberlink CMM machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Competent using: Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore gauges, Height gauges, General precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
