Salary £36,000 to £42,000, Gloucester based in the GL2 area, 33 days leave, 37 hours Monday to Friday, early finish Friday, pension, life assurance, parking, potential for flexible start and finish times, permanent role.
Our client is a market leader within their field supplying to the Aerospace, Automotive and Engineering Industries. Due to an increase in their order book, they are looking to recruit an all-round Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to support their current Engineering Team and Customers.
The role will involve:
- Preparing estimate costs for materials, labour and services to prepare customer quotations
- Assisting in providing manufacturing steps including tooling, bills of material and process routings
- Providing Technical Customer Service
- Liaising with various internal departments, the shop floor and customers
- Ensuring quality processes are being adhered to
- Competent in Microsoft Office and any ERP/MRP type system
In order to be considered for this role:
- Served an Engineering apprenticeship in machining or similar knowledge acquired in manufacturing or engineering environments
- Hold City & Guilds or HNC/D or degree level or equivalent qualification in engineering
- Competent in Microsoft Office and any ERP/MRP type system knowledge would be advantageous but training will be provided on the company's system
- Able to work on their own initiative but in a team environment with colleagues, interacting with other departments
- Providing related engineering support working to deadlines
