Senior Estimator
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a Fit Out / Refurbishment Construction Contractor based in the South of Glasgow.
You will be joining an award-winning company who completes all their projects to the highest of standards and has built a strong client portfolio in the process.
Project sectors you can expect to find yourself working on include offices, hotels, industrial units, schools, hospitals and more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for a range of projects.
- Work closely with Estimating Manager.
- Collaborate closely with further Commercial and Operational teams.
- Oversee estimating process from initial enquiry to final submission.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of suppliers and market rates.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to oversee multiple tenders and deadlines.
