We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a large commercial project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing contractor delivering high quality mechanical installations on a fast-paced and prestigious development.
Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising mechanical subcontractors and site labour
- Coordinating mechanical works with other trades and site management teams
- Monitoring quality, progress, and health & safety compliance
- Attending site meetings and reporting progress to project management
- Managing materials, deliveries, and workforce allocation
- Supporting commissioning and project handover activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services installations
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Valid CSCS card
