We are recruiting for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer based in the Glasgow area covering the maintenance of a large-scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance.
The role is a permanent position paying up to £42,000 basic and based on a continental shift pattern:
- Week one – 2 days on, 2 off, and 3 on.
- Week two – 2 days off, 2 on, and 3 off.
Shifts from 6am to 6pm.
Responsibilities:
- Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to Mechanical Plant room
- Pumps and valves
- Plumbing maintenance
- Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
- Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
- Small works installation
- Emergency repairs
- All ad-hoc maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial grade plumber
- Experience of plant room, AHU's, FCU's etc.
- Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
- Excellent client facing skills
- Valid driving license
- willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
- Willing and ability to pass a PVG check
