This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional to join a dynamic team, contributing to a strong pipeline of diverse and high‑quality projects across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure best value
- Identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams including project managers and commercial staff
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools
- Support tender submissions and post‑tender negotiations
Requirements
- Proven experience in an estimating role within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Desirable
- Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
- Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed‑use projects
