This dynamic client‑facing role is within BDO’s Tax Assurance & Risk Management (TA&RM) team, which consists of around 15 people led by three tax partners. The role requires excellent client relationship, communication and project management skills to distil tax concepts into clearly understood information for a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding quickly to requests and maintaining regular communication.
  • Actively manage your client portfolio and project delivery, coordinating teams to provide exceptional client service.
  • Support business development activities.
  • Deliver high‑quality advice and report writing across corporate, indirect and employment taxes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance delivery and offer additional services to clients.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience of TA&RM work (tax process, tax strategy, SAO, CCO, tax risk registers, etc.) and a keen interest in tax governance and operations.
  • Broad tax technical knowledge across a range of tax issues.
  • End‑to‑end project delivery experience and strong advice and report writing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence delivering workshops, training sessions and webinars, often to board level.
  • Degree level education and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent, or relevant experience.
