Role Responsibilities

As a Service & Repairs Engineer, you will:

  • Carry out annual boiler servicing and landlord gas safety inspections across domestic social housing properties
  • Diagnose heating and hot water faults, identifying issues quickly and carrying out effective repairs
  • Complete repairs to boilers, heating controls, pumps, motorised valves, radiators, thermostats, and associated heating system components
  • Attend both planned maintenance appointments and reactive breakdowns, ensuring a first-time fix wherever possible
  • Ensure all gas appliances and heating systems are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently in accordance with Gas Safe regulations
  • Accurately record work completed, parts used, and follow-up actions using company systems
  • Identify and report additional works or safety concerns where required
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working professionally within occupied homes
  • Manage your daily workload effectively while meeting productivity and service-level targets
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance, and workmanship at all times

Ideal Candidate

  • Valid ACS gas qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
  • Proven experience carrying out domestic gas servicing, fault finding, and repairs
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across domestic heating systems
  • Experience working within social housing or domestic residential environments is desirable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and manage a busy daily schedule
  • Committed to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality workmanship
