We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a new build residential development in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a well-established project, with work expected to run through to March 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site labour.
- Ensure health & safety compliance is maintained at all times.
- Monitor progress against programme and resolve any site issues.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Carry out site inspections, inductions and toolbox talks.
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build residential projects.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) β Essential.
- First Aid at Work β Essential.
- CSCS Card β Essential.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to start immediately.
