My Client, a bespoke Environmental Consultancy based in Bristol, who specialise in low carbon builds and natural flood management, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their team in Bristol. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in flood risk, drainage and hydrology for residential and commercial developments across the UK. You will have the chance to design flood risk and drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial and Retail Sectors for both public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1, 2 and 3.
- Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
- SuDS Strategies.
- Drainage, attenuation and SuDS design using infodrainage and causeway flow.
- Design of sustainable drainage solutions for residential and commercial developments.
- Client meetings to discuss project progress.
Qualifications and Experience
It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and SuDS design using infodrainage or causeway flow. It would be beneficial for applicants to live locally as they will be expected in the office 4 days a week.
