Role: Maintenance Engineer
Hours: 6-2pm / 2-10pm rotating weekly
Salary: £20.67/hr PAYE + Holidays
Location: Commutable from Flint, Deeside, Holywell, Chester, South Wirral
Position Type: Contract based, lasting a few months
Key responsibilities and qualifications:
- Apprentice trained in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, ideally HNC level.
- Strong manufacturing background in reactive & PPM work.
- Solid all-round mechanical engineering experience covering bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics, and other production machinery, coupled with some electrical fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of equipment including Check Weighers, Flow Wrappers, metal detectors, conveyors & cutting machinery.
- Responsible for maintaining engineering stores & parts & work to continual improvement of the PM system.
- Flexible, proactive, able to manage own workloads and work closely with other engineers on site.
