Acorn by Synergie, in partnership with our prestigious client, is seeking a Fleet Manager to join and support their growing, diverse organisation. The successful applicant will be based from Llandarcy, Neath, travelling as required to fulfil the role, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. The role is fixed term with an immediate start.
Key Duties
- Day-to-day management of approx. 75 commercial vehicles (no HGV).
- Organising MOT, servicing, taxation and maintenance to ensure compliance of fleet and minimise downtime.
- Maintaining vehicle fleet database.
- Carrying out periodic vehicle inspections.
- Reviewing driver vehicle inspections submitted via the app and arranging maintenance as appropriate.
- Managing fuel cards and monitoring fuel usage.
- Managing vehicle tracker system and carrying out periodic audits of driver speed and driving style.
- Sourcing vehicles for purchase or temporary hire as required.
- Reporting and managing vehicle accident and insurance claims.
- Preparing monthly reports for each division of the group relating to their allocated vehicles and utilisation/costs.
- Delivering monthly reports to senior management on fleet conformity and any issues arising.
- Managing vehicle penalty notices, parking tickets etc.
- Ensuring driver handbooks and vehicle logbooks are issued and maintained.
- Coordinating annual driver license checks.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- IT literate, familiar with MS Office programmes including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must be enthusiastic and committed.
- Good organisational skills.
- Able to commute to and from Neath Port Talbot area and client sites as required.
- Previous experience in a fleet management or coordination role.
What We Offer
- Pay rates of £16.82 to £19.23.
- Monday to Friday work with start times between 5am and 6am.
- Minimum 8 hours of pay guaranteed per day.
- Weekly pay with online payslips.
- 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata, including statutory holidays.
