To install, alter, maintain and repair fire and security systems to a high compliant standard and to specification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installations of fire and security systems to the required British Standard, on time and on budget.
- Conduct small works alterations to the required British Standard, on time and on budget.
- Conduct routine maintenance of fire & security systems to the level required by British Standards.
- Conduct corrective repairs to the required British Standard, on time and on budget.
- Help to manage and exceed client expectations.
- Provide accurate, regular reports to your manager on the progress of the work.
- Manage other contractors and junior colleagues on site where appropriate.
- Be responsible for the Health & Safety of yourself and others.
- Provide the correct completed certification accurately and on time where appropriate.
- Participate in the on-call rota for out of hours emergencies.
- Reduce repeated callouts, meeting a first-time fix rate of 90%.
- Be aware of and comply with the British Standards for servicing of systems.
- Ensure van stock level is adequate for our customer base and their requirements.
- Use PDA as expected and in real time.
