We’re seeking an experienced Service Engineer for an established client in the building materials sector. Covers North West, North East, and Scotland. Focus on roof windows inspection/maintenance with strong customer service and independence.
What you’ll do as Service Engineer:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair roof windows; visit commercial/public sites and new builds
- Install accessories (e.g., blinds)
- Communicate with customers, address concerns, and deliver excellent service
- Complete service reports, record serial numbers and photos, and update completion certificates
- Promote health and safety; support internal/external teams
Requirements:
- Valid clean driving licence
- Field-based servicing experience
- Roofing experience and working at height training are desirable
- Proven experience in a similar role
Working details:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours
- Flexible start/finish; occasional overnight stays (expenses paid, door-to-door)
Benefits:
- Salary circa £30,000 (negotiable) plus overtime at 1.25x and 10% bonus
