Location: HMP Exeter
Rate: £30.00 – £31.00 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: 6 months (Temp to Perm opportunity)
Hours: 40 per week – 07:30 – 16:30
Clearance: Basic DBS + MOJ Vetting required
Key Responsibilities- Full commercial management of FM / project works within a secure MOJ environment
- Preparation and management of valuations, variations, and cost reporting
- Cashflow management, forecasting, and financial performance reporting
- Supporting monthly applications, invoicing, and payment processes
- Ensuring compliance with NEC / JCT contract requirements
- Risk identification and commercial mitigation planning
- Production of accurate financial data for senior stakeholder reporting
- Liaising with operational teams, supply chain, and client representatives
- Supporting continuous improvement and commercial efficiency initiatives
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced QS
- Strong background in commercial management / cost control (FM or construction)
- Experience working with NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Previous exposure to MOJ / secure environment or public sector contracts
- Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Valid CSCS card
- Willingness to undergo Basic DBS and MOJ vetting
- Experience within Facilities Management or lifecycle / maintenance contracts
- Understanding of lean / cost efficiency principles
- Previous experience working within regulated or audited environments
