Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor that works in collaboration with local authorities and private companies on civils and infrastructure related projects in South Wales, Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. As part of this framework, they are delivering a project worth £12m with a scope of works that includes earthworks, drainage and culverts etc. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join one of their busy teams.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate monthly forecasting
- Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors
- Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliation
- Change control and producing compensation events
- Producing, submitting, and agreeing monthly applications
- Attend weekly progress meetings
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of basic quantity surveying principles
- Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
- Candidates must also be able to drive as the role will involve site visits
