We are working with one of the UK's largest independent coffee machine specialists, whose clients include pub groups, restaurant chains, fuel retailers and coffee machine manufacturers. We are seeking Field Service Coffee Engineers to join our team as Coffee Engineers, undertaking the servicing and repair of coffee machines – both traditional and bean‑to‑cup – within a region. Full product training will be provided to those with Coffee Engineer, White Goods Engineer or Catering Engineer experience.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Coffee Engineer: £32,000‑£40,000 salary, based on experience & grade.
- Senior Coffee Engineer: £40,000‑£45,000 salary, monthly bonus scheme, company benefits, product‑specific training, company van, fuel card, tools, smart phone, tablet, optional weekend overtime.
- Additional payments for Saturday or Sunday work: £250 per day.
- Bonus schemes: review scheme and monthly team bonus.
- Company Pension, life insurance, private health and dental care.
- Company van with private use option (combibox sized).
- Tools, uniform, mobile phone, etc.
The Position
- Planned servicing & preventative maintenance on coffee machines.
- Reactive breakdown & repair.
- Installation and setup of coffee equipment.
- Delivery of equipment training to users (operation and cleaning).
- Completion of all digital documentation.
Your Experience
- Ability to fault‑find using a multimeter.
- Read and understand diagrams.
- Field‑based customer‑facing experience.
- Experience with coffee machines, ideally Bean‑to‑Cup or Traditional.
Career Development & Progression
- Career development and progression, with increased earnings, in‑house and manufacturer training, bonus schemes including review scheme and monthly team bonus.
Remuneration & Hours
- Monday to Friday. Two weekend days per month.
- Salary range: £30,000‑£40,000, depending on relevant experience.
- Additional payments for Saturday or Sunday work: £250 per day.
- 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).
