Your responsibilities as Commercial Butchery Manager:

  • Lead production across butchery, small goods, and packing operations
  • Plan and deliver production schedules aligned to demand
  • Improve workflow, output, and operational efficiency across the site
  • Drive the shift from traditional methods to a scalable production model
  • Maintain a strong shop floor presence, supporting and guiding the team
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and health & safety standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience within the meat industry and production environments
  • Strong hands-on butchery capability, including full carcass work
  • Proven background in commercial or high-volume butchery operations
  • Solid understanding of production efficiency, yield, and workflow improvement
  • HACCP knowledge and experience working within food safety regulations

Working hours: Based in Cullompton, you will work Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 (40 hours per week)
