Air Conditioning Installation Engineer in Exeter, Devon

Air Conditioning Installation Engineer in Exeter, Devon

Exeter Full-Time On-site
E

A local patch, a company van and your own bed every night. No motorway miles, no hotels, no nationwide rota.

We're recruiting a permanent Domestic Air Conditioning Installer for an established AC and building services company with over 30 years in the trade. This role is built around a fixed patch in and around Exeter, with a full kit provided from day one.

What you'll be doing

You'll install wall-mounted split and multi-split air conditioning systems in customers' homes. Jobs are planned and booked by the office, so you're working on a proper diary rather than chasing a rota across the country.

You'll also survey some of your own upcoming installs a few weeks ahead, so you see the job before you're stood in front of it and you're never caught out by someone else's bad survey.

Self-employed at the moment? This swaps quoting and invoice-chasing for a steady salary, planned work and paid holiday.

What you'll need

  • Solid experience installing domestic air conditioning systems (split and multi-split)
  • Confidence carrying out your own site surveys
  • The professionalism to work cleanly and courteously in customers' homes

Is this right for you?

This is domestic work only. There's no VRV, no VRF, no chillers or plant rooms, and no nationwide travel. If you want lots of commercial variety, or a depot to report to every morning, this won't suit you. If you want well-planned local installs and evenings at home, it will.

Pay and package

  • Β£45,000 to Β£50,000 depending on experience
  • Permanent, directly employed
  • Company van and installation kit provided
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Paid overtime, with optional weekend work if you want it
  • Travel paid beyond the first 15 minutes each way
  • Defined local patch around Exeter, no overnight stays
