About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the tendering process for a high-value residential development. Working closely with pre‑construction and delivery teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are competitively priced and commercially viable.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Source and obtain subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Evaluate and compare tender returns
- Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options
- Support bid submissions and presentations
- Work closely with commercial and project teams to ensure accurate pricing
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
- Strong background in residential projects
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
