A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join a well-established technology and manufacturing business specialising in digital display and signage products. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will take ownership of all electrical and electronic aspects of the product range across its full lifecycle.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering electronic solutions, working closely with senior management, production teams and customers to drive innovation and support the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:- Degree qualified within Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong experience within electronic design in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working across the full product lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with design, build, testing and refinement of prototypes.
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) into manufacturing.
- Ability to provide technical support to production, sales and customers.
- Strong understanding of electronic components such as LED, LCD, power supplies and communication systems.
- Experience managing or supporting projects and product development activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of design for manufacture principles.
- Experience working with digital display or signage technologies (LED, LCD, E-Ink).
- Experience with product approval and certification processes (CE, BSI, UL, CSA).
- Understanding of network systems, cellular communication or embedded systems.
- Experience designing products for harsh or outdoor environments.
- Working for a growing, well-established manufacturing business winning new contracts.
