Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrician to join this forward‑thinking and dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing electrical maintenance services within a large and complex environment, including fire and security systems, electro‑mechanical systems, and gate/pedestrian controls.
- Ensuring all work meets high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Carrying out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
- Using basic to intermediate IT skills to update systems and records, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, and taking accurate notes when required.
- Supporting building services operations across heating, hot water, ventilation, refrigeration, environmental systems, electrical power distribution, and public health systems.
- Working as a team player, showing flexibility within contracted hours and maintaining a positive, proactive approach.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Accreditation to the 18th Edition of the New Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) or suitable cross‑industry qualifications, such as Level 3 Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience providing electrical maintenance in large or complex facilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Practical knowledge across multiple building services disciplines.
- UK citizenship, or Commonwealth/EEA citizenship with indefinite leave to remain.
- Continuously resided in the UK for the past 3 years with no trips overseas longer than three months.
- Ability to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) vetting.
- Not currently bankrupt.
