We are looking for an experienced Electrician with a proven background in the water industry to join a team working on a water treatment site in Shropshire. This is a varied role covering MCC panel installation, fitting fans, flow switches, and temperature control switches, and delivering projects to WIMES specifications. This is a critical point in the project and requires an additional electrician to assist.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and fit MCC panels (own and third-party) on clean and wastewater sites
- Wire and fit associated equipment such as fans, flow switches, and temperature control switches
- Work from electrical drawings, site specifications, and WIMES standards
- Support site teams on installation, upgrades, and maintenance works
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with water industry standards
Requirements
- Experience working on water industry projects (clean or wastewater)
- WIMES knowledge and ability to work from detailed electrical drawings
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work within site teams
- ECS Card (Gold preferable)
