We’re recruiting experienced JIB Graded and Approved Electricians for a project in Glen Mor, Invergarry (PH35 4HT), starting 10th August. This role is ideal for electricians with proven knowledge of cable pulling, glanding, and terminating. The position offers excellent pay rates in line with JIB agreements, lodge accommodation, and travel expenses covered.
Salary
- JIB Graded Electrician PAYE: £22.28/hr basic | £32.85/hr overtime 1 | £43.80/hr overtime 2
- Umbrella: £25.49/hr basic | £38.24/hr overtime 1 | £50.98/hr overtime 2
- JIB Approved Electrician PAYE: £24.17/hr basic | £35.62/hr overtime 1 | £47.50/hr overtime 2
- Umbrella: £27.64/hr basic | £41.46/hr overtime 1 | £55.29/hr overtime 2
Location and Working Pattern
- Glen Mor, Invergarry, PH35 4HT
- 11-day fortnight (Monday to following Thursday)
- 10-hour shifts, starting 07:30
- Project duration: 10th August – 17th September
Responsibilities
- Install SWA cables from 3 Core 4mm² through to 5 Core 150mm²
- Carry out cable pulling, glanding, and terminating
- Terminate commando plugs and sockets
- Install and connect MDUs
- Link temporary modules on site
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard across external environments
Must-have Requirements
- Valid JIB Card
- Experience with cable pulling, glanding, and terminating
- Industrial or commercial electrical installation experience preferred
Nice-to-have Skills
- Background in large outdoor project works
- Ability to work within a team on rotating shifts
