Electrician, Glasgow | £35,000 to £38,000 | perm | Overtime Available
Responsibilities
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) including lighting and plant checks, testing, and general building maintenance.
- Perform reactive electrical repairs — e.g. to lighting systems, power distribution boards, and small power circuits.
- Complete routine electrical inspections, testing, and fault-finding across the site.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors carrying out PPM and reactive work.
- Support the multi-skilled facilities team with general maintenance duties as required.
Requirements
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) qualification.
- City & Guilds / SVQ Level II or III in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
- Proven experience within facilities management or building services environments.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
