We are seeking qualified and experienced Electricians to join our team working on a nuclear power station project, one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure developments. This is a long‑term, permanent position with a Tier 1 contractor, offering excellent pay, benefits, and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Install containment, wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and schematics.
  • Ensure all work complies with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and site safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety at all times.
  • Support commissioning and inspection activities where required.

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2357, or equivalent).
  • Current JIB Gold Card (Approved or Electrician Grade).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Valid ECS card.
  • Previous experience on large industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Desirable

  • COMPEX certification or experience in hazardous areas.
  • IPAF, PASMA, or SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications.
  • Previous experience working on nuclear or energy sector projects.
