As a qualified Electrician, Industrial Electrician, Electrical Engineer or COMPEX Electrician, you will work independently within a global engineering organization to carry out statutory inspections and electrical testing across a wide range of industrial and commercial environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspection and electrical testing of installations in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Conduct EICRs.
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards, 18th Edition regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Produce accurate technical inspection reports within agreed timescales.
  • Provide professional technical advice to clients.
  • Maintain high customer service standards.
  • Identify potential additional service opportunities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • 18th Edition (BS7671) regulations – essential.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 – Inspection & Testing qualification essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation (Part 1,2 &3 or 2365 Diploma).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good IT skills and ability to produce technical reports.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations.

Desirable:

  • COMPEX 01-04.
  • Experience in fixed wirer testing.
  • Time-served apprenticeship.
