As a qualified Electrician, Industrial Electrician, Electrical Engineer or COMPEX Electrician, you will work independently within a global engineering organization to carry out statutory inspections and electrical testing across a wide range of industrial and commercial environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspection and electrical testing of installations in commercial and industrial environments.
- Conduct EICRs.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards, 18th Edition regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
- Produce accurate technical inspection reports within agreed timescales.
- Provide professional technical advice to clients.
- Maintain high customer service standards.
- Identify potential additional service opportunities.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- 18th Edition (BS7671) regulations – essential.
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 – Inspection & Testing qualification essential.
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation (Part 1,2 &3 or 2365 Diploma).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good IT skills and ability to produce technical reports.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations.
Desirable:
- COMPEX 01-04.
- Experience in fixed wirer testing.
- Time-served apprenticeship.
