Electrical Tester / Appointed Person
£26.70per hour (PAYE only) Uplift after 37.5 hours

1st Step Solutions are looking for an Electrical Tester/ Appointed Person to work across multiple projects in London, this is a long term position, to be taken on directly later.
This is a combination role where 20-30% of the role is AP work and the rest is testing and on the tools.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Testing and certification of electrical installations where required or requested.
- General electrical installation when there is no testing or SAP duties.
- A monthly inspection of all electrical projects in London and south east region to ensure compliance with company code of practice is being maintained.
- IT skills to maintain records of all testing and inspection in relation to the code of practice and feeding into database if required.
- Attendance to any meeting required under the SAP role and Liaison with SAP manager
Requirements:
- JIB Card | Approved Electrician
- 2391 or 2394/5
- 18th Edition
- First Aid (can be arranged by the client)
- SMSTS (can be arranged by the client
- Previous experience as an Appointed Person
- CV
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- two recent references confirming similar duties
