The Role
Working as part of a highly skilled production team, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring of complex electrical and electronic systems to exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fine soldering and intricate wiring of electrical assemblies
- Point-to-point wiring and cable assembly
- Box build assembly and integration
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
- Looming, crimping, terminating, and routing cables
- Working to high-quality standards within regulated industries such as aerospace, defence, or similar sectors
- Inspecting and testing completed assemblies
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with customer specifications
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Wirer, Wireperson, or Wiring Technician
- Strong background in fine wiring and soldering
- Experience with box build assembly
- Aerospace, defence, motorsport, medical, or other high-specification manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and wiring schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
