The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Shift Technician to join a prestigious commercial building maintenance team in the City of London. Shift Pattern

Continental Shift Pattern Days & Nights Rotation 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am Repeat rotating pattern Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and plant equipment.
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding across building services systems.
  • Carry out electrical repairs and installations when required.
  • Monitor and maintain critical systems to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and reports accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Support mechanical and building services operations where required.
  • Participate in emergency call-out and incident response procedures.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Experience working within commercial buildings, critical environments, data centres, banking, or high-end corporate facilities.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of building services systems and electrical infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
