Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days Only)

Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a stable days-only shift role with strong earning potential, training opportunities, and genuine career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
  • Fault finding and repair of electrical plant and associated building services equipment
  • Working on LV systems, lighting, emergency lighting, UPS, generators, AHUs, FCUs, and BMS systems
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety procedures are followed
  • Supporting subcontractors and specialist service providers on site
  • Completing maintenance records and reports accurately using CAFM systems
  • Providing excellent client-facing service at all times

Requirements

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition qualified
  • Experience working within commercial building maintenance environments
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and client-facing abilities
  • HV/AP qualifications beneficial but not essential
