A leading M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee fast-track fit out projects across Central London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in delivering high-quality commercial fit out projects within tight timescales. The successful candidate will take ownership of electrical packages from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical fit out projects from inception through to handover
- Oversee project programmes, budgets, procurement and labour resources
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure timely delivery
- Drive fast-track project programmes while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Attend client, design and progress meetings
- Review drawings, technical specifications and project documentation
- Identify and manage project risks, variations and technical queries
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Liaise closely with commercial, design and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support commissioning, snagging and final handover activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E or fit out sector
- Experience delivering fast-track commercial fit out projects
- Strong understanding of electrical building services systems
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- SMSTS, CSCS and relevant industry qualifications
