Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Stratford, London
Salary: £47,500 – £51,000 + excellent benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) – 12‑hour shifts
Role
We’re seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a leading food manufacturing company with a long‑standing reputation for quality and innovation.
As a key member of the maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Fault‑finding and repair on electrical and mechanical systems
- Planned preventative maintenance across conveyors, mixers, coolers, boilers, and control panels
- Working with PLCs (Allen Bradley & Siemens)
- Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer within a factory or FMCG setting
- Electrical bias with mechanical aptitude
- Strong fault‑finding skills, particularly with PLCs (Allen Bradley / Siemens)
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment
