NT Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you'll play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment and plant.
- Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
- Maintain and repair motors, drives, control panels, sensors, PLC-controlled machinery and associated equipment.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance, reliability and efficiency.
- Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's CMMS system.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and achieve operational targets.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
- Previous experience within an electrical maintenance role in manufacturing, FMCG, production, industrial or logistics environments.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working on PLC-controlled machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a shift engineering team.
Desirable
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi PLC systems.
- Exposure to automated production or packaging equipment.
- IOSH or other Health & Safety qualifications.
