Rompa are the market leaders in sensory provision and due to ongoing growth within our business, we are looking to hire a full time Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team in the fitting of specialist sensory rooms.
Responsibilities
- Providing an installation service of sensory and soft play equipment into customers’ premises, ensuring the highest quality, safety and workmanship at all times.
- Installing, testing and inspecting electrics in customers’ premises ensuring that this is done in compliance with the latest electrical safety regulations.
- Issuing an electrical safety certificate on completion of all electrical work within the installation.
- Providing any joinery needs.
- Carrying out site surveys and risk assessments prior to the installation.
- Carrying out service calls and maintenance on our equipment, diagnosing and repairing any faults.
Qualifications
- IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
- Level 3 Testing and Inspection qualification
- Electrotechnical Certification Scheme Card (ECS Gold Card)
- Current and clean driving licence
- Ability to use a wide range of tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills and a ‘can do’ positive attitude
Benefits / Other Information
- Candidates must have willingness to work away from home during the week; some weeks you could be away all week.
- An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate – we also pay an overnight allowance.
- We pay for any evening meals and lunches whilst staying away.
- The hotels we use are a high standard and are as close as possible to the installation site.
- Due to the work environment of this role, the successful candidate will have their background checked with the DBS to ensure suitability.
