Bouygues Energies & Services Industry, an Equans Group Company, is recruiting an Electrical Estimator to join the team based in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit estimating team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across Data Centres, Pharmaceutical / Clean Room Environments, Process Engineering & Industrial Works.
What you will deliver?
- Actively contribute to the team providing accurate and auditable cost estimates
- Review project documentation to develop a clear understanding of project scope and requirements
- Accurately review and/or produce tender documents and drawings, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
- Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to clarify design requirements and ensure estimates align with project specifications
- Have responsibility for the delivery of fully costed and detailed pricing in response to client specifications with appropriate back‑up data and audit trail documentation
- Assist in the production and submission of tenders for various clients whilst building relationships with these clients
- Prepare prices and forecast for projects
- Attend site visits as required to estimate and produce analysis of the results
- Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with key vendors
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates

Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a similar Estimator role within the industry
- Strong technical knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and practices
- Commercial awareness
- Background in working within an M& E Subcontractor or Main Contractor
- Extensive Trades knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in managing time, resources & financial management
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of Health & Safety across all activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build positive working relationships
- Highly computer literate and analytical, competent in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
