Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a high-value contract on major infrastructure projects? Do you want to play a leading role in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary engineering solutions with a nationally recognised consultancy? We are seeking two Electrical Engineers to join a leading contractor/consultancy on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role offers a hybrid working model, with offices in London.
The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on critical UK infrastructure programmes, particularly within the water sector, contributing to innovative and large-scale engineering solutions. You will be part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team, with the chance to take ownership of technical delivery while supporting the development of junior engineers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading and coordinating Electrical and ICA design delivery across complex projects
- Producing high-quality technical deliverables including single line diagrams, load schedules, MCC specifications, and control philosophies
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions
- Managing project inputs to ensure delivery against timeframes, budgets, and quality standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers within the team
- Providing technical input for bids and proposals
- Ensuring compliance with design standards, industry regulations, and quality assurance processes
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status
- Solid understanding of industry standards (e.g. WIMES) and design practices
- Experience with electrical design software such as Trimble or Amtech
- Knowledge of HAZOP, DSEAR/ATEX, earthing, bonding, and lighting design principles
- Experience in industrial or process environments - ideally in water
