A global market‑leader with annual revenues of almost $1bn is looking to grow its Electrical Engineering team. In this role, you will manage design projects from conception through to detailed design and manufacturing handover. You will provide design input on projects and offer new ideas for developments and new products.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will produce engineering designs, specifications and documentation to ISO 9001, while assisting in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals. You will provide customer support as well as off‑site engineering support for new products. You will be flexible, adaptable and professional, with the ability to work just as effectively on your own or as part of a multi‑discipline team. This role will be on site in Kirkbymoorside.

Package:

  • 37 hours per week with flexi‑time opportunities
  • Overtime opportunities

Technical requirements:

  • Sound engineering knowledge
  • Technical drawing competence
  • Design of electrical power systems
  • Electric motor types, designs and specifications
  • Power distribution and protection equipment

  • Variable speed drives and soft‑starts
  • Wiring distribution systems
  • PCB manufacturing and standards
