Job Overview: Electrical Supervisor – Commercial Fitout.

Location: Canary Wharf.

Duration: Circa 7 months + potential extension starting Tuesday 12th May.

Hours: Mon‑Fri 10‑hour shifts with weekend shifts differing.

The Shore Group is working with a leading M&E Contractor to support a major data centre project in Canary Wharf. This is a long‑term contract opportunity, with an initial 7‑month contract starting Tuesday 12th May. Subject to performance and project progression, there is strong potential to transition onto the contractor’s west‑based Data Centre upon completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have proven data centre experience.
  • Supervise 20–25 operatives.
  • Responsible for construction sign‑offs with the QA team.
  • Facilitate daily internal construction meetings.
  • Input into CX meetings where required.
  • Provide weekly progress updates.
  • Oversee installation works including lighting and lighting control systems, containment systems, LV distribution, and small power.

Rates & Hours:

  • £33 per hour for standard hours, Monday to Friday, based on 50 hours per week.
  • £49.50 per hour for hours above 50 and Saturdays (7 a.m.–1 p.m.).
  • £57.75 per hour on Sundays.
