One of Europe’s leading Building Services Commissioning management consultancies is urgently seeking an Electrical Commissioning Manager with good witnessing experience on a Data Centre project in London.
- Job Purpose Summary
- Managing the commissioning process
- Validating the commissioning process and ensuring results align with requirements
- Inspecting existing systems to determine how they perform
- Providing consultative advice on commissioning and performance requirements, strategies, programmes, scopes of work and related matters
- Carrying out measurements, surveys and other technical inspections
Additionally, at all times
- Engaging with other members of the Company to help improve existing systems and procedures
- Acting as Champion in an area of specific technical interest
- Promoting the company and the wider group through marketing activities
- Key Attributes
- A capable, technically competent engineer with drive, enthusiasm and a high attention to detail
- Holding recognised engineering qualifications, ideally a Bachelor of Engineering
- Having detailed technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and/or building control systems
- Possessing a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Project

Key Responsibilities
- Act safely at all times in compliance with the Company’s health and safety policy and procedures
- Work diligently, efficiently and professionally at all times
- Ensure technical compliance and high quality production of deliverables
- Fully adopt the Company’s project management systems
- Maintain an acute awareness of project finances and control expenditure
- Attend meetings as required
- Prepare technical reports
- Develop project‑specific commissioning management/validation documents and procedures
- Comment on drawings, manuals and technical submittals
- Develop project‑specific method statements, test scripts and related items
- Be aware of and report internally on project scope changes
- Work with other members of a professional team in evaluating progress, difficulties and costs
- Undertake hands‑on commissioning work as necessary
- General Duties
- Look ahead with a view to arranging test instrumentation required for testing
- Assist in the development of tender submissions
- Accurately complete timesheets on a weekly basis
- Pre‑actively support other members of staff in undertaking their work
