Role Overview
A hands‑on, site‑based role across Thetford and surrounding area, supporting the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of pumping equipment.
Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning and servicing of pumping equipment
- Carrying out electrical work alongside a Mechanical Site Engineer
- Supporting breakdowns and after‑sales service when required
- Completing site reports and obtaining customer sign‑off
- Ensuring all tools and materials are prepared ahead of site visits
- Working to strict health & safety standards
- Representing the business professionally on client sites
- Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams
Qualifications
Essential:
- Electrical qualification (BS7671 17th or 18th Edition)
- C&G Level 3 in Inspection & Testing
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude
Desirable:
- Experience in a field service or maintenance role
- Experience working with pumps or similar equipment
- Confined space training
- First Aid certification
